Corn Starch

Corn starch is a processed product of corn kernels, which is a product obtained by grinding corn kernels with coarse and fine particles and separating by-products such as germ, fiber and protein. Corn starch is widely used and rich in downstream products. It mainly involves seven industries including starch sugar, beer, medicine, paper making, chemical industry, food processing and modified starch. The consumption of starchy starch accounts for 55% of the consumption of corn starch. Followed by beer (about 10%), medicine (about 8%), paper and chemicals (about 7% respectively), food processing (about 6%) and modified starch (about 5%). China is the second largest producer of corn starch after the United States. The origin of corn starch is mainly concentrated in North China and Northeast China. The output of corn starch in the five provinces of Shandong, Jilin, Hebei, Henan and Shaanxi occupies China's cornstarch About 89% of the total output.

Corn-> cleanup-> soak-> ground-> embryo-> grind-> isolated fiber-> isolated protein-> washed-> centrifuged-> dried-> screened-> starch

 

Industry application of corn starch

 

Food industry: the production of glucose, an important raw material, food additives; general screening 80 mesh, 100 mesh, 120 mesh;
Pharmaceutical industry: the production of penicillin, streptomycin and other antibiotic media and some of the main ingredients of the flaky drug additives; general screening 120 mesh;
Printing products: for printing dusting, a large amount of ink screen 200 mesh, small screen 300 mesh ink;
Chemical industry: used in the production of acetic acid, acetone, butanol and other chemical products;
